The General Meeting was hosted by the Faculty of Chemistry of the Universitat de Barcelona (Spain) with Konstantin Neyman acting as the Local Organiser. Presentations of Action members and  external experts provided a felicitous mix of fundamental studies and reports on important reducible oxide applications such as solid oxide fuel cells, proton exchange membrane fuel cells, solar thermochemical syngas production and photoelectrochemical water splitting. >>>

The COST Training School on “Advanced Experimental Methods for Energy Materials Characterization“ took place at the Hanse-Wissenschafts-Kolleg (Institute for Advanced Study) in Delmenhorst with Jan-Ingo Flege acting as the Local Organiser. Renowned experts rendered in-depth introductions to the principles and applications of a broad range of topics in modern material characterization at the PhD student/early stage researcher level, with a particular focus on in-situ experimental methods and novel energy materials and reducible oxides.
