Structural properties of ceria nanotubes.
J. Phys. Chem. Lett. 3, 2092 (2012).

We analyze the reactivity of metal oxide surfaces such as ceria and titania using computational techniques.
We aim at the understanding of the mechanisms of surface reactions such as the water gas shift (WGS), CO preferential oxidation (PROX) catalyzed by supported coinage metal nanoparticles on specifically tailored mixed metal oxides. We are also interested in the charge transport across metal-oxide interfaces, Co2O3, CeO2, TiO2…, and the effects induced by doping with trivalent cations.
