CMST Domain Annual Progress Conference

Assisi, 5. – 7. June 2013

The 2013 Annual Progress Conference of the Chemistry and Molecular Sciences and Technology Domain took place in the Domus Pacis Hotel next to the Porziuncola in Assisi, a place full of Franciscan heritage and contemporary religious life.

The World Heritage centre Assisi provided a most stimulating environment for scientific discussions and intense exchange between Action Chairs. The CM1104 Action Chair reported about a most successful first year of the Action with numerous scientific highlights, nine joint publications from Action members and six Short Term Scientific Missions providing the opportunity for young scientists to work in a partner lab for up to three months. Within the first year, the number of scientists involved in the Action climbed to over 160 and scientists from four new member countries joined the Action.
